Position Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Social Media Manager who will be a key leader on our social team, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social strategies for our consumer brand clients. The Sr. Social Media Manager will oversee social media operations, develop platform-specific strategies, and drive measurable engagement across all current and emerging social platforms. They will lead all aspects of social media management including publishing, monitoring trends, community management, and reporting on content performance to optimize strategy.

This particular role focuses on our consumer brand clients - working on a range of projects from travel to lifestyle to product. The ideal candidate understands the social landscape for consumer marketing - follows the latest buzzy (and niche!) brands, tracking trends and understanding the nuances of the campaign cycle. The ideal candidate will be creative, innovative, and data/strategy-driven, with a passion for all-things social media.

Reporting into the Associate Director, Social, they will also contribute to RFPs - developing platform strategies and providing the latest insights on social trends. They'll work closely with the Associate Director to ensure strategy + ideation are optimized for the latest social best practices across all assigned projects.

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience in social media management and digital marketing
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in social media metrics and reporting
  • Demonstrated expertise across major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, Reddit)
  • Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (Sprout, Sprinklr, Meta Business Suite)
  • Excellence in project management and meeting deadlines
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience presenting to clients and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to build and grow social media audiences
  • Deep understanding of social media best practices and platform-specific requirements
  • Lifestyle, F&B and/or travel experience is a plus



Location and Salary

This is a full-time, exempt role with a salary range of $100,000-$120,000, depending on experience. The contract-to-hire period will be three months. This is a remote role and candidates should be comfortable working east coast hours, and preference will be given to candidates in New York or New Jersey.
