The Sr. Analyst, Incentive Planning is responsible for helping to design, implement and optimize sales incentive programs to drive sales and performance within the sales force.


 

Job Summary:

This Sr. Analyst, Incentive Planning role plays a crucial role in supporting the execution of programs that maximize sales and motivates/rewards the sales teams and individuals, with an emphasis on efficient spend. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, incentive planning, and a deep understanding of the automotive industry.


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver regular reports and presentations on competitive offers, transaction prices, incentive spend, etc.
  • Analyze sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of incentive programs and make data-driven recommendations for adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to sales incentives.
  • Coordinate the cross-functional rollout of sales incentives, providing ongoing communication and updates regarding incentive program changes or updates.
  • Address questions and concerns from sales teams regarding incentives.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in sales incentives.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to track commission program performance.
  • Analyze performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales commissions.
  • Identify trends and make data-driven recommendations for program improvements.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • 3+ years in automotive incentive programs, sales operations, compensation, or commission programs
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Tableau
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to incentives, sales compensation and commissions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
