We are currently seeking a Sales Manager - Americas, to be based in the United States (Carol Stream, IL preferred). This dynamic leader will guide our direct sales team, and dedicated dealer network, across North, Central and South America in daily activities, opportunity capture, lead creation, and selling activities. They will be responsible for achieving our overall sales goal, and help the team set and achieve their individual territory sales goals as well. They will also play an integral role in our GTM strategies, by finding new paths to success, key accounts, and customers, in our dedicated end markets. This sales professional will also utilize the 80/20 discipline to maintain a focused market approach, with a customer first mentality, to over deliver on pre and post sales product support and service.

 

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • H.S. degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Eight or more years of progressive, successful, experience in sales and marketing in an industrial products manufacturing company is required; with at least 3 years of sales team leadership experience required.
  • Welding experience with hand or orbital fusion welding required.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to drive growth and development in previous roles.
  • Expertise in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue, market share, and margin goals.
  • Skilled in influencing others and conducting effective negotiations.
  • Capable of making sound, well-reasoned decisions based on facts and analysis, while involving the appropriate stakeholders in the decision-making process.
  • Effective at communicating across all levels within a manufacturing environment.
  • Collaborative team member with the ability to build and maintain productive working relationships.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and leading team-based problem-solving efforts.
  • Competent in using Office 365 applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, within a Windows environment.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
  • Open to traveling up to 50% domestically and 15% internationally (including Europe and Latin America).
