What you'll do

• Lead departmental initiatives, coordinating resources and timelines to meet project goals and ensuring inflight technology solutions are effectively supported
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners for the Flight Attendant Experience Product to identify business objectives and develop vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Identify challenges and risks associated with project delivery and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively
• Assist the Manager in overseeing team operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of projects and initiatives
• Manage software vendor product evaluations and oversee the development of technical solutions
• Develop financial analysis and business cases to support project justifications
• Analyze feedback to identify insights that support project development and conduct research to define initiative scope and costs
• Communicate with key stakeholders, providing regular status updates on team progress and delivery concerns
• Coordinate efforts between multiple teams and vendors, both internal and remote, including support for technology projects that don’t require development
• Coach and counsel team members to promote compliance with company policies and foster professional growth
• Foster collaboration and keep team members engaged while maintaining a positive environment
• Participate in working groups and planning activities to define the team's future direction and address operational issues

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent experience/training
• 4+ years of relevant experience in a related field
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong understanding of project management principles and tools (e.g., Asana, ADO, Aha!)

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Current inflight experience and understanding of working with a contract labor group is desirable
• Previous managerial or supervisory experience
• Knowledge of AA budgeting, policies, and procedures

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Software and other relevant tools.
• Self-directed, confident, with a high level of initiative.
• Strong managerial skills, with the ability to mentor, mediate, and negotiate.
• Ability to create and maintain solid documentation.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to identify challenges, risks, and opportunities around technology project delivery.
• Strong planning, analytical, and organizational skills to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams.
• Ability to work shift work, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience working with a diverse group of people in a fast-paced environment.
